		<title>House</title>
		<author>Frank Peretti and Ted Dekker</author>
		<ttr>Two Days</ttr>
		<rating>♥♥♥♥♥</rating>
<babble>This book left me almost breathless. It was tense from start to finish, and forced you to keep turning the pages. The Christian slant was well-crafted and not oppressive for non-believers, and the final explanation concerning the 'haunted' house was very believable.</babble>

		<title>A Reliable Wife</title>
		<author>Robert Goolrick</author>
		<ttr>Six Days</ttr>
		<rating>♥♥♥</rating>
<babble>This book was more art than story. The author experiments with vast quantities of imagery, to a mostly enjoyable result. Too much sex in this book. Every time a character turned around, there was either talk of sex or in-your-face sex. Enough was enough by the end. Granted, it was done to show how the character changes over time, but as a reader, I didn't need that much copulation shoved in my face.</babble>

		<title>Eye of the Needle</title>
		<author>Ken Follett</author>
		<ttr>Two Weeks</ttr>
		<rating>♥♥♥♥♥</rating>
<babble>What can I say? Ken Follett is a master of period storytelling, and this book is no exception. Well-crafted plot and believable characters. Well, for the most part. Still a tense page-turner.</babble>

		<title>Alter of Eden</title>
		<author>James Rollins</author>
		<ttr>Two Weeks</ttr>
		<rating>♥♥♥♥</rating>
<babble>A pretty intense trip through New Orleans. I'd highly recommend this book, especially to James Rollins fans.</babble>

		<title>State of the Union</title>
		<author>Brad Thor</author>
		<ttr>Three Weeks</ttr>
		<rating>♥♥♥♥</rating>
<babble>This was a slow-moving book... in the beginning. Since then, it has noticibly picked up. I can't say I feel much of a connection to the main character, as the author has branched out his cast to a fairly-diverse group. Still, this was an excellent read with some very good action mixed in.</babble>

		<title>The Lost Tomb</title>
		<author>David Gibbins</author>
		<ttr>Abandoned</ttr>
		<rating>♥</rating>
<babble>This book read like an encyclopedia vomitted all over a paperback novel. The characters all seemed to jabber on like drunken college professors, just no where near as interesting.</babble>

		<title>The Sinner</title>
		<author>Tess Garrittsen</author>
		<ttr>3 Weeks</ttr>
		<rating>♥♥♥♥</rating>
<babble>This is the Tess Garrittsen I enjoy. It was like a homecoming to return back to Rizzoli and Isles. I missed those two women, and it was nice to see them back in action. Good, unique storyline and some well-played angst between the two leading women.</babble>

		<title>Harvest</title>
		<author>Tess Garrittsen</author>
		<ttr>Abandoned</ttr>
		<rating>♥</rating>
<babble>I don't get into legal stories, and despite my love for Tess Garrittsen, this book just couldn't keep my interest. The fact that I was reading it over the Nanowrimo season probably did not help much, as I was too preoccupied with my own novel. Regardless, this one ended back up on the pile, likely not to be read again by me. That said, there were some interesting characters. If you enjoy the legal medical variety, I'm sure this book would be up your alley.</babble>

		<title>Aztec Heresy, The</title>
		<author>Paul Christopher</author>
		<ttr>Abandoned</ttr>
		<rating>♥♥</rating>
<babble>Honestly got bored with this one. Really wasn't much happening.</babble>

		<title>One Second After</title>
		<author>William Forstchen</author>
		<ttr>3 Days</ttr>
		<rating>♥♥♥♥</rating>
<babble>Not exactly a feel-good book, but certainly addictive. Very sobering by the end, and I've looked at the world in a slightly different manner since reading it.</babble>

		<title>Lost Symbol, The</title>
		<author>Dan Brown</author>
		<ttr>3 Weeks</ttr>
		<rating>♥</rating>
<babble>I've decide that Dan Brown is an egomaniac. He constantly pats himself on the back in this book while over-inflating the so-called 'controversy' the Da Vinci Code created. Yawn. Oh, and the story in this book was boring too.</babble>

	<book>
		<title>World War Z</title>
		<author>Max Brooks</author>
		<ttr>1 Week</ttr>
		<rating>♥♥♥♥♥</rating>
<babble>Slow to start, but definitely one of the key novels concerning the undead in the modern era.</babble>

		<title>Doomsday Key, The</title>
		<author>James Rollins</author>
		<ttr>1 1/2 Weeks</ttr>
		<rating>♥♥♥♥</rating>
<babble>A much better novel from an author that I expect great novels from. He slacked off on the last one a bit, but this was a return to force.</babble>
